Currently the BRECO company performs the investment program in result of which in the middle of 2006 a new technological line will be launched for unwoven fabrics production.
The line will be based on two-sides mechanical needle-punched technology that allows to obtain high quality measures of the product to fulfill the customers requirements.
Description of the product
100% PES fibre and 100% PP fibre or mixtures of these fibre will constitute basic raw material for the mentioned fabrics production in the scope of: 3,5 –8 dtex thickness and 35 -90 m length. Obtained unwoven fabrics of 100 up to 800 g/m2 weight may be applied for footwear, furniture and automobile industry as geo-fabrics to be applied for ground building sites.
The structure and features of geo-fabrics enable simultaneous use of some functions included in the design solutions as, for example, connecting drainage, filtration and hardening. Exemplary application of geo-fabrics as hardening layers is their application as:
grounds reinforcement in the slopes
foundation layers reinforcement of communication embankments including motorways, temporary, access and forest roads, etc.
Geo-fabrics working as the hardening that enhances ground resistance for cutting stresses and additionally performing the role of filters improve the ground qualities, increasing the stability of the geo-technical construction. Such an application allows to strengthen the foundation layer what additionally allows to decrease the scope of the ground exchange and stone materials utilization and extend the exploitation period
Geo- fabrics utilization as separating layers is applied for grounds displacement prevention in the slope – they constitute the boundary between the foundation and the slope.
Geo-fabrics are applied as filtration layers in the bodies of dams and banks, on the bottoms of the water reservoirs which limit hollowing out particles and grains of sand.
The unwoven fabrics fulfills important function as protective layers, which prevent foundation ground structures damages in the course of the embankment pouring (they protect also other construction materials). Applied geo-fabrics may frequently fulfill numerous functions simultaneously:

filtrating function
